If you really, really, really wanted (or had) to, here is a quick how-to:

• Get your hands on SD card and USB Key (1GB each should do)
• Download physdiskwrite (with GUI) and wxpboot
• Extract wxpboot’s wxpboot.ima using winzip / winrar
• Start PhysGUI.exe and burn extracted .ima to your SD card (console command: physdiskwrite -u wxpboot.ima should work too)
• Put I386 folder from your Windows XP installtion disk to your USB key (nLite should help your slipstream service packs / get rid of IE, MSN explorer and other junk)
• Boot EeePC from SD card, use fdisk to delete all partitions and create one MS-DOS primary, active partition
• Reboot
• format c: /s
• fdisk /fixmbr
• Insert your USB key, reboot
• d:i386winnt

Windows installer should carry you through the rest…
