I have just stumbled across an old machine I have used for a project couple of years ago, and guess what:

-su-2.05b# uptime
8:37PM  up 617 days,  4:46, 1 user, load averages: 0.00, 0.02, 0.00

I guess this would have been at least doubled if they haven’t had to migrate equipment to the new server room some time last year…

As they say – if it ain’t broke (and exposed directly to the net) – don’t fix it!
